Masterinbox

When to use this guide: Read this before configuring Masterinbox with OutboundSync to confirm what the integration covers today.

OutboundSync connects Masterinbox to HubSpot and Salesforce as a one-way sync, sending Masterinbox’s unified-inbox conversation activity — including AI-derived signals — into your CRM as events on the matching contact or lead record.

Masterinbox aggregates outbound replies across email, social, and X (Twitter) into one threaded view per prospect, then layers AI on top to categorize intent, prioritize the queue, and surface buying signals. OutboundSync writes that activity into HubSpot or Salesforce so the CRM timeline reflects the full omnichannel conversation, not fragments scattered across sending tools.

Because Masterinbox already ties replies back to a single prospect across channels, the activity that lands in your CRM stays consolidated rather than duplicated under separate records.

  • Inbound replies aggregated across email and social channels
  • Outbound replies sent by reps through Masterinbox
  • AI-generated reply categorization and intent signals as contact properties
  • Sentiment classification on each reply
  • Sending account context for agency and multi-client setups
  • Contact matching and deduplication against existing CRM records
  • Timestamps and thread metadata on every activity
  • HubSpot — direct integration
  • Salesforce — direct integration

See Masterinbox + HubSpot and Masterinbox + Salesforce for destination-specific field mappings.

  • One-way sync. Data flows Masterinbox → CRM. Updates in HubSpot or Salesforce are not written back to Masterinbox.
  • Beta. The integration is live as a direct Beta. Setup is currently handled by the OutboundSync team during onboarding.
  • Distinct from “Via Masterinbox” partner integrations. Several other tools (Lemlist, Expandi, FindyMail, BetterContact, and more) sync into OutboundSync through Masterinbox as a partner. This page describes the direct Masterinbox ↔ CRM connection — see each partner tool’s integration page for the partner-routed flow.
