Sync Masterinbox email and social conversations, label changes, and prospect list moves into HubSpot and Salesforce. See what syncs and the current scope.

When to use this guide: Read this before configuring Masterinbox with OutboundSync to confirm what the integration covers today.

OutboundSync connects Masterinbox to HubSpot and Salesforce as a one-way sync, sending Masterinbox conversation activity into your CRM as events on the matching contact or lead record.

What this integration does

Masterinbox brings conversations from many email and social sender accounts into one inbox. OutboundSync receives Masterinbox webhooks and writes that activity into HubSpot or Salesforce, so the CRM timeline shows conversations from every connected account in one place.

What syncs into your CRM

OutboundSync processes these Masterinbox webhook events:

Masterinbox event Logged in your CRM as
Message outgoing Email sent (social-account messages are logged this way too)
Message incoming Email reply, or social reply when the conversation is on a social account
Label changed Lead category update, using the label name
Prospect list changed Lead category update (“prospect list changed”)

Each activity carries the sending account and the event timestamp.

Where it syncs

  • HubSpot — direct integration
  • Salesforce — direct integration
  • Close — supported during the current Close beta
  • Attio — supported during the current Attio beta
  • HighLevel — supported during the current HighLevel beta
  • Pipedrive — supported during the current Pipedrive beta

Scope and current limitations

  • One-way sync. Data flows Masterinbox → CRM. Updates in HubSpot or Salesforce are not written back to Masterinbox.
  • Beta. The integration is live as a direct Beta. Setup is currently handled by the OutboundSync team during onboarding.
  • Distinct from “Via Masterinbox” partner integrations. Several other tools (Expandi, Salesflow, PlusVibe, FindyMail, Prospeo, BetterContact, Icypeas, and Ashby) sync into OutboundSync through Masterinbox as a partner.
