When to use this guide: Read this before configuring HeyReach with OutboundSync to confirm what the integration covers today.

OutboundSync connects HeyReach to HubSpot and Salesforce as a one-way sync, logging LinkedIn outreach activity to the matching contact or lead record and backfilling key fields when payloads carry data the CRM is missing.

HeyReach runs multi-account LinkedIn outreach for agencies and teams. OutboundSync receives HeyReach webhook events and turns them into structured CRM activities — connection requests, messages, replies, and category updates — so social outreach is attributed alongside email in pipeline reporting.

Because LinkedIn URLs vary in format, HeyReach payloads run through OutboundSync’s identity-matching logic before write so activity lands on the correct record.

When HeyReach includes the data, OutboundSync fills in missing fields on existing records:

  • HubSpot — contact default-field backfill, including job title
  • Salesforce — Contact and Lead default-field backfill, including job title

Backfill runs on first match per record so it does not overwrite values your team has edited in-CRM.

  • HubSpot — direct integration
  • Salesforce — direct integration
  • Close — supported during the current Close beta
  • One-way sync. Data flows HeyReach → CRM. Updates in HubSpot or Salesforce are not written back to HeyReach.
  • LinkedIn only. Email and phone are out of scope.
  • Guided setup. Setup is currently handled with the OutboundSync team during onboarding.
