Mixmax

When to use this guide: Read this before configuring Mixmax with OutboundSync to confirm what the integration covers today.

OutboundSync connects Mixmax to HubSpot and Salesforce as a one-way sync for email engagement activity. Mixmax webhook events are received by OutboundSync and written to the matching CRM record.

What this integration does

Mixmax is an email engagement platform used for outbound sequences and Gmail-based sales workflows. OutboundSync captures supported Mixmax events and normalizes them into CRM activity so reps and RevOps can use the CRM as the source of truth.

What syncs into your CRM

  • Email sends
  • Opens
  • Link clicks
  • Replies
  • Bounces and unsubscribe-style events when provided by Mixmax
  • Campaign, recipient, sender, subject, and timestamp metadata when available

Where it syncs

  • Salesforce — direct integration
  • Close — supported during the current Close beta

Scope and current limitations

  • One-way sync. Data flows Mixmax -> CRM. Updates in the CRM are not written back to Mixmax.
  • Email channel only. Social, phone, and inbox-management events are out of scope.
  • Guided setup. Setup is currently handled with the OutboundSync team during onboarding.
