Connecting HubSpot to Claude

This guide walks you through connecting HubSpot to Claude (Chat) and using OutboundSync data to analyze outbound performance, engagement, and conversion patterns—directly through AI prompts.

By the end of this article, you’ll be able to:

  • Connect HubSpot to Claude
  • Select the allowed permissions during setup
  • Grant access to other users in your HubSpot account
  • Understand which OutboundSync data Claude can analyze
  • Ask high‑impact prompts to uncover insights and optimization opportunities

Connect HubSpot to Claude

A HubSpot Super Admin or a user with App Marketplace permissions must:

  • Connect the HubSpot connector for the first time
  • Select the allowed permissions during setup
  • Once connected, that user can grant access to other HubSpot users

Step 1: Connect HubSpot in Claude

  1. In your Claude chat window, select your profile icon in the bottom-left corner

  2. Click Settings

  3. Click Connectors

  4. Select HubSpot, then click Connect

  5. In the dialog box, click Continue to HubSpot

  6. Authenticate using your HubSpot login credentials

  7. Select the HubSpot account you want to connect

  8. On the Connecting HubSpot Connector for Claude page:

  9. Review and select the permissions you want to allow

  10. Click Connect App

  11. You’ll be redirected back to Claude once the connection is complete

Step 2: Give Other Users Access to the Connector

To allow other users in your HubSpot account to use the Claude connector:

  1. In HubSpot, click the Settings icon in the top navigation bar
  2. In the left sidebar, go to Integrations → Connected Apps
  3. Click HubSpot connector for Claude
  4. On the Overview tab, click Give users access (top right)
  5. Click Give Access to enable the connector for all users in the account

Step 3: Users Connect Their Own Claude Accounts

Once access is granted in HubSpot:

  • Other users can connect their own Claude accounts
  • No additional HubSpot admin action is required

What Happens Next

After connecting, your connected AI tools will access to HubSpot CRM objects such as:

  • Leads
  • Contacts
  • Companies
  • Meetings
  • Deals
  • Custom Objects

Users can now begin analyzing outbound performance and engagement data directly in Claude.
