HubSpot tier guide

When to use this guide: Use this guide when you are onboarding OutboundSync or validating initial setup.

OutboundSync works across all HubSpot plans, but to fully utilize the data being logged from OutboundSync in HubSpot may require subscribing to a specific HubSpot.

This guide shows which OutboundSync features are unavailable, partially available, or fully available on each HubSpot plan across Free, Starter, Professional, and Enterprise tiers.

The main limitation for Free tier plans is that users can have up to 1,000 total contacts in their CRM. Syncing replies and corresponding events is the only viable way to use OutboundSync for Free tier HubSpot plans.

  • Email activity sync

  • Log sends & replies as native email activities

  • Contact & company timeline events

  • Correct CRM associations

  • Do-Not-Contact sync

  • Block contacts

  • Block companies

  • Block contact lists

  • Domain-level blocking

  • Real-time sync (no CSVs)

  • Campaign data standardization

  • Controlled campaign syncing

  • Clean, predictable data model

You are still limited when it comes to reply-based automation; workflow-triggered follow-ups; meeting, deal, and revenue attribution; and HubSpot native custom reporting & dashboards.

In summary, you get safe, visible outbound with clean data, but minimal automation and attribution with Free and Starter tier plans.

  • Reply routing & automation

  • Trigger HubSpot workflows from replies

  • Auto-create tasks (call, LinkedIn, follow-up)

  • Rotate owners

  • Internal notifications

  • Trigger enrichment (e.g. Breeze, Clay)

  • Attribution & reporting

  • Attribute meetings to outbound campaigns

  • Tie replies to deals

  • Closed-won revenue attribution

  • Pre-built and custom HubSpot dashboards

  • Advanced Do-Not-Contact

  • Contact, company, and domain suppression

  • Continuous real-time updates

You are still limited when it comes to doing complex multi-branch workflows and enterprise governance controls.

In summary, you unlock most of OutboundSync’s power and can run outbound as a measurable, automated system.

  • Advanced automation

  • Complex, multi-branch workflow logic

  • Sophisticated routing rules

  • Cross-team handoffs

  • Enterprise enrichment & scoring

  • Revenue-grade attribution

  • Full campaign → revenue tracking

  • Forecasting & executive dashboards

  • Multi-pipeline reporting

  • Enterprise data control

  • Permissions & governance

  • Scalable ownership models

  • High-volume outbound reliability

In summary, OutboundSync operates at full capacity, powering outbound at scale with complete revenue visibility.
