SuperSend + HighLevel integration

Agencies sending with SuperSend can show clients the results in HighLevel. OutboundSync writes each email event as a plain-text Note on the client's Contact.

SuperSend + HighLevel at a glance

SuperSend connects to HighLevel through OutboundSync. SuperSend email sends, opens, link clicks, replies, bounces, unsubscribes, and interested leads are written as plain-text Notes on the matching HighLevel Contact in one authorized sub-account. Contacts are matched on email, created when missing, and refreshed on each match.

Clients judge an outbound agency by the conversations it starts. OutboundSync puts SuperSend's replies and interested flags into the client's HighLevel sub-account as Notes on the right Contacts, so the client sees them where they already work.

The rest of the campaign, from sends to opens to bounces, lands the same way. Name, phone, and company refresh on each match, and email stays fixed as the dedup key, so the client's Contact list stays clean as volume grows.

SuperSend + HighLevel FAQ

  • What SuperSend activity does OutboundSync sync to HighLevel?
Email sent, email opened, link clicked, reply received, email bounced, lead unsubscribed, and lead marked interested.
  • Which HighLevel records does it write to?
OutboundSync matches or creates HighLevel Contacts. SuperSend events land as plain-text Note on the Contact. See the HighLevel beta guide for details.
  • Can SuperSend activity add HighLevel tags?
No. OutboundSync writes Contacts and Notes. Tags, opportunities, and tasks are not part of the HighLevel connection.
  • Is the integration one-way or two-way?
One-way. Activity flows from SuperSend into HighLevel, and nothing is written back to SuperSend.
  • Can I use HighLevel records as a block list?
Not today. Block lists come from HubSpot lists or Salesforce reports. The HighLevel beta syncs activity in only.
  • Do I need admin access to set it up?
The HighLevel user who authorizes the Location must use the same email as their OutboundSync login.
  • Which SuperSend plan do I need?
OutboundSync works with every SuperSend plan. The webhook and API features it relies on are included on all of them.
  • How is SuperSend + HighLevel priced?
Beta access is scoped with the OutboundSync team during onboarding. Billing follows the same model as every plan: sent messages per month. Replies, opens, clicks, and lead-category updates are not billed. See the pricing page.
  • Can I do this with Zapier, Make, or n8n?
Yes, for lightweight automation. Zapier, Make, and n8n are good for prototypes and simple routing, but they need ongoing maintenance and bill by task or step. OutboundSync is pre-built for outbound CRM sync, keeps searchable event logs beyond 30 days, and prices by outbound volume.
  • What breaks first when this scales?
Data quality and reliability break first: duplicate events, retries, out-of-order webhooks, and bursts during big sends. OutboundSync handles idempotency, timing buffers, and queue recovery, and flags suspicious or mismapped payloads instead of writing them.
