EmailBison + HighLevel integration

Agencies sending at EmailBison scale can show clients the results inside HighLevel. OutboundSync writes each event as a plain-text Note on the matching Contact.

EmailBison + HighLevel at a glance

EmailBison connects to HighLevel through OutboundSync. Campaign and manual sends, opens, replies, bounces, unsubscribes, interested leads, automated-reply flags, and tag changes are written as plain-text Notes on the matching HighLevel Contact in one authorized sub-account. Contacts are matched on email and created when missing.

EmailBison is popular with agencies running big cold email programs, and HighLevel is where many of their clients live. OutboundSync connects the two at the sub-account level. Each client's HighLevel receives only the EmailBison activity from the source wired to it, as readable Notes on their own Contacts.

Clients care about replies, not send counts. Because EmailBison flags automated replies and marks interested leads, those signals show up in the Notes, and client teams can filter to the Contacts worth calling today instead of reading every out-of-office message.

What teams do with EmailBison + HighLevel

  • Deliver interested leads

Clients filter HighLevel Contacts marked interested by EmailBison and follow up the same day.

  • Cut auto-reply noise

Automated-reply flags let client teams skip out-of-office messages.

  • Show the campaign history

Each EmailBison touch sits on the Contact, so reporting starts in the CRM.

EmailBison + HighLevel FAQ

  • What EmailBison activity does OutboundSync sync to HighLevel?
Email sent, email opened, reply received, email bounced, lead unsubscribed, lead interested, automated reply detected, and tag added or removed.
  • Which HighLevel records does it write to?
OutboundSync matches or creates HighLevel Contacts. EmailBison events land as plain-text Note on the Contact. See the HighLevel beta guide for details.
  • Does EmailBison activity update HighLevel Contact details?
On a match, OutboundSync refreshes name, phone, company, and configured custom fields. Email is the dedup key and is never changed, and the Contact assignee is never set.
  • Is the integration one-way or two-way?
One-way. Activity flows from EmailBison into HighLevel, and nothing is written back to EmailBison.
  • Can I use HighLevel records as a block list?
Not today. Block lists come from HubSpot lists or Salesforce reports. The HighLevel beta syncs activity in only.
  • Do I need admin access to set it up?
The HighLevel user who authorizes the Location must use the same email as their OutboundSync login.
  • Which EmailBison plan do I need?
OutboundSync works with every EmailBison plan. The webhook and API features it relies on are included on all of them.
  • How is EmailBison + HighLevel priced?
Beta access is scoped with the OutboundSync team during onboarding. Billing follows the same model as every plan: sent messages per month. Replies, opens, clicks, and lead-category updates are not billed. See the pricing page.
  • Can I do this with Zapier, Make, or n8n?
Yes, for lightweight automation. Zapier, Make, and n8n are good for prototypes and simple routing, but they need ongoing maintenance and bill by task or step. OutboundSync is pre-built for outbound CRM sync, keeps searchable event logs beyond 30 days, and prices by outbound volume.
  • What breaks first when this scales?
Data quality and reliability break first: duplicate events, retries, out-of-order webhooks, and bursts during big sends. OutboundSync handles idempotency, timing buffers, and queue recovery, and flags suspicious or mismapped payloads instead of writing them.
