SuperSend → Attio
Give SuperSend activity structure in Attio. OutboundSync writes a Note on the Person for each event and can store it as a record with campaign, subject, and reply text.
SuperSend connects to Attio through OutboundSync. SuperSend email sends, opens, link clicks, replies, bounces, unsubscribes, and interested leads each write a Note on the matched Attio Person. The optional OutboundSync custom object adds a structured record per event, with campaign, subject, and message fields you can filter.

SuperSend is often chosen for its sending infrastructure, and Attio for its flexible data model. OutboundSync connects the two by storing each SuperSend event as an OutboundSync record: subject line, campaign, sequence step, and the sent or reply message. That makes outreach something you can query in Attio as well as read.
Interested events are records too, so an Attio list of People SuperSend marked interested is one filter away. Notes on the Person keep the readable history for anyone who just needs context before a call.
Every event below arrives in near-real time and lands on the matched Attio record. Pick the ones you want per source.
| Event | Channel | Where it lands in Attio |
|---|---|---|
| Email sent | Note on the Person, plus an optional OutboundSync record | |
| Email opened | Note on the Person, plus an optional OutboundSync record | |
| Link clicked | Note on the Person, plus an optional OutboundSync record | |
| Reply received | Note on the Person, plus an optional OutboundSync record | |
| Email bounced | Note on the Person, plus an optional OutboundSync record | |
| Lead unsubscribed | Note on the Person, plus an optional OutboundSync record | |
| Lead marked interested | Note on the Person, plus an optional OutboundSync record |
Event names come from the SuperSend webhooks OutboundSync receives. Attio is a one-way beta, so exact event coverage is confirmed during onboarding. See the SuperSend event reference.
Filter OutboundSync records to the SuperSend interested event for a ready-to-work list.
Compare replies by subject line using the fields stored on each record.
Notes show every SuperSend touch before a meeting.
The options teams weigh before they commit a production sync.
| Option | What it does | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|
| Zapier, Make, or n8nCompare integration platforms | Catch SuperSend webhooks and write each event to Attio with a workflow you build. | Every event type, retry, and field change is a workflow you maintain, billed per task or step. |
| Custom buildBuild vs buy | Write your own service against the SuperSend and Attio APIs. | You own matching, deduplication, API limits, and every upstream schema change. |
| OutboundSync | Pre-built email activity sync into Attio People. | One-way beta with guided onboarding. Lighter configuration than HubSpot or Salesforce today. |
Install OutboundSync from the Attio App Store, then optionally create the OutboundSync custom object in CRM Settings.

Select SuperSend when you create the Attio source, and confirm how contacts are matched.
Trigger one SuperSend event and confirm it on a real Attio Person.
Launch with the OutboundSync team watching the first production events in Attio.
Any plan
OutboundSync works with every SuperSend plan. The webhook and API features it relies on are included on all of them.
Attio is a one-way beta. There is no Attio plan gate on our side; onboarding runs with the OutboundSync team.
