OutboundSync is now listed in the Attio App Store — Attio’s public directory for teams that want outbound activity from their sales engagement stack logged on the right Attio person and company records. Gold-tier platforms Instantly, Smartlead, EmailBison, and HeyReach lead the Attio beta, along with more sequencers and orchestration tools.

Why Attio is built for flexible GTM data
Attio was not built as a generic CRM bolt-on. Nicolas Sharp and Alexander Christie co-founded the company in London in 2019 after pivoting from Fundstack — a vertical CRM for venture capital they had built since 2017. They wanted a customizable data model GTM teams could shape to their motion, not a simplified CRM template — a thesis Sharp put in writing when Attio raised $23.5M in Series A funding led by Redpoint Ventures.
That goal still shows up in the product: flexible objects, lists, views, and workflows in an AI-native CRM for startups and GTM builders. OutboundSync carries the same idea into the outbound stack — activity from Smartlead, Instantly, HeyReach, and the rest lands as structured notes where reps already work.
What the Attio App Store requires
Attio’s App Store is not a free-for-all listing. Public integrations connect through OAuth 2.0, not pasted API keys.
Per Attio’s OAuth tutorial and App Store publishing guide:
- Developers enable OAuth 2.0 in the Attio developer dashboard and configure redirect URIs and scopes
- Users authorize through Attio’s consent flow at
app.attio.com/authorizeand can pick which workspace to grant access - Access is revocable under workspace settings → Apps
- Published apps are reviewed for listing content, code, and design assets before they appear in the public App Store; Attio targets completing reviews within one week
OutboundSync is a reviewed public OAuth app, so Attio admins can install, audit, and revoke access without sharing secrets.
What OutboundSync does for Attio teams
OutboundSync logs one-way outbound email and social activity onto Attio person and company records as structured notes during the current beta. Reps review synced activity inside the lists and views they build in Attio — OutboundSync does not ship prebuilt lists or views.
The Attio beta is intentionally lighter than HubSpot and Salesforce: one-way only, less configurability, and guided onboarding with the OutboundSync team. Phone activity is not supported in this rollout.

How do Instantly, Smartlead, EmailBison, and HeyReach connect to Attio?
OutboundSync receives webhook events from each platform, matches the prospect to an Attio person, and logs outbound activity as notes on that record and the related company. Email platforms capture sends, replies, opens, and campaign context. Social platforms capture connection requests, messages, and profile views.
These four are OutboundSync gold-tier integrations — the deepest product support we offer on HubSpot and Salesforce today. Attio beta is one-way, but they are the primary entry points for teams evaluating an outbound-to-Attio path.

Smartlead, Instantly, Clay, EmailBison, Brevo, Reply.io, Lemlist, Aimfox, Drippi, HeyReach, Mixmax, SalesRobot, Salesforge, GetSales, Ken AI, SuperSend, HotHawk, and Master Inbox.
Lemlist and Aimfox connect directly — a step up from the earlier Master Inbox-only path. Lemlist covers email and social; Aimfox covers social outreach.
Via Master Inbox only: Expandi, Salesflow, PlusVibe, and Ashby.
Salesfinity is not in this rollout — call activity does not map cleanly to Attio’s email and note activity model in the current beta.

Attio’s App Store includes serious revenue-stack neighbors alongside OutboundSync. Each solves a different job:

Mixmax and Outreach launch outbound sequences from Attio. OutboundSync logs sequencer activity back onto records. Hightouch and Census move warehouse data. Clay enriches and orchestrates. That mix is why the App Store matters for full-funnel revenue teams running on flexible CRM data.
