Partner spotlight: HubSpot
HubSpot puts CRM, marketing, sales, and service on one shared customer platform. It’s one of the primary CRMs OutboundSync writes into — a live, two-way integration.
Who’s behind HubSpot
HubSpot was founded in 2006 by Brian Halligan and Dharmesh Shah in the Boston area. Halligan coined the term “inbound marketing,” and the two built a movement around attracting customers with helpful content instead of interrupting them. HubSpot is now a public company serving businesses worldwide, with Dharmesh Shah still serving as CTO.
What HubSpot does
HubSpot brings marketing, sales, and service onto one platform built around a shared CRM. Mid-market teams can adopt it without stitching separate tools together — the contact record, the email, the pipeline, and the reporting all live in one place.
How HubSpot structures your data
HubSpot is built on four core objects — Contacts, Companies, Deals, and Tickets — linked by associations, with custom objects on higher tiers. Each record is a set of properties, and because marketing, sales, and service share one object model, a contact’s emails, deal stage, and support tickets all hang off a single record. Outbound touchpoints show up as engagements and timeline events on that record, so activity sits next to everything else the team tracks.
Workflows, HubSpot’s automation builder, enrolls records and triggers actions, while its Breeze AI layer adds copilots and agents that summarize records, score leads, and draft follow-ups. Dashboards and the custom report builder give teams near-real time views of pipeline and activity across all three hubs.
How it works with OutboundSync
OutboundSync syncs outbound email and social activity onto your HubSpot person and company records — two-way — so outreach from tools like Smartlead, Instantly, or HeyReach shows up on the HubSpot contact next to everything else your reps already track.
For setup details, see the HubSpot integration page.
