Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How are emails billed?
OutboundSync only bills for actual emails sent and replies received. We do not include warmup emails since that data is not synced to your CRM. We do not bill for syncing status-related updates (e.g. email open, link click, email bounce, lead status update, unsubscribe).
Are there volume discounts?
Yes, as you scale your email volume the cost per email goes down. Companies who opt into annual contracts can qualify for custom pricing—contact us for more information.
How do the HubSpot and Salesforce integrations work?
Users select one system to push their data to from OutboundSync, either HubSpot or Salesforce.
- How it works in HubSpot: OutboundSync is listed in the HubSpot Marketplace. Create an account and connect via HubSpot OAuth Connection.
- How it works in Salesforce: We integrate with Salesforce through a Connected App. You can see how setup works in this single page guide.
- What if I use both? We typically see users pushing to HubSpot first, then Salesforce with HubSpot's free Salesforce integration.
- What if I'm using a data warehouse? For companies using a data warehouse product like Snowflake, the typical workflow is to push to Salesforce and then have the other tool pull from Salesforce.
Regardless of which CRM you choose, OutboundSync must be installed by an administrator.
Is OutboundSync SOC 2 Type II compliant?
At OutboundSync, we invest heavily in security. OutboundSync maintains SOC 2 Type II compliance, which you can learn about by visiting our Trust Center. For platform stability, visit our Status Page.
Is OutboundSync an independent third party integration?
Yes, OutboundSync is a third-party, cross-platform integration tool by an independent company. OutboundSync is not a part of any of the companies that we integrate with.
What our users say
"The OutboundSync team have figured out a way to make Hubspot an effective outbound machine with its effective API connection with Smartlead. Harris and his team are bringing the power of modern outbound reach and capabilities to the most established CRM—enabling teams like mine to effectively run successful multi-channel campaigns on steroids. I love working with Harris and his team. Their combined knowledge of the outbound world and HubSpot's capabilities brings clarity, agility, and more opportunity to my sales team."

"OutboundSync is the missing piece for any growing sales team to keep HubSpot clean, while adopting a modern sales process externally. Our team loves the automation and reporting capabilities that Harris and his team brought us. It makes forecasting and strategy so much easier as we grow. Without it, our internal sales strategy would not be possible."
